Two-Hour Tour of the Historical heritage

An organized tour of Jajce’s cultural and historical heritage will offer visitors the opportunity to experience nearly all periods of Bosnia’s turbulent history within a relatively small area.

During the two-hour program, the group will have the opportunity to visit the following national monuments:

The Catacombs or Underground Church
The Church of St. Mary / Sultan Suleiman’s Mosque
The Austro-Hungarian architectural complex
The Fortress
Esma Sultanija Mosque
The AVNOJ Museum
The Waterfall

One-Day Program Visit Jajce
A blend of culture, history, and natural beauty - Duration: 4–5 hours

Part 1: Discover Jajce

In the first two hours, visitors will be introduced to the following monuments: The Catacombs or Underground Church, the Church of St. Mary / Sultan Suleiman’s Mosque, the Austro-Hungarian complex, the Fortress, Esma Sultanija Mosque, the AVNOJ Museum, and the Waterfall.

Part 2: Pliva – the Bosnian Eden

After a short break and lunch, the group will be transported to a popular park just outside the town. Only 5 km from the center lie the Great and Small Pliva Lakes. Between them, on a tufa barrier, stand the iconic wooden watermills known as the Mlinčići. The surrounding landscape is ideal for various forms of recreation and is also a beloved local picnic spot. For this occasion, a boat ride on the Great Pliva Lake will be organized.
